Karl Edwards Karl Edwards began his career in the home building business in 1974. Beginning at the bottom, he worked with all the contracting trades in the construction business to get an understanding of what it took to build a house. After a short time away from the building business, working with custom cabinet makers, he reentered the home building business in1979 working for a local custom home builder learning the process of building homes for discerning clients. During this period he built on the average, 8 luxury homes a year ranging from 3,000 to 7,500 square feet and priced from$400,000 to $1,100,000. Karl has been building distinctive homes for more than 28 years and today he brings to the Charlotte building profession his hands-on experience in all phases of elegant homebuilding. Distinguished and characteristically different, Karl has developed himself into one of the most uniquely qualified luxury home builders in the area and is well-known for his integrity and professional personality.
